Together we are Strong
Killorglin AFC provides football for boys across all age groups and for a growing number of girls’ teams, beginning with our ever-expanding Academy every Saturday morning.
We provide a clear pathway for players to continue their football education from the Academy through our underage and adult teams. Many players have completed this pathway and progressed to opportunities beyond the club. We believe in developing every player and giving them the coaching, encouragement and environment needed to reach their full potential.
Guided by our philosophy of “Together,” we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where players can develop, build friendships and enjoy being part of a strong community club.

Proudly serving the local community for more than five decades
Founded in 1972, Killorglin AFC has proudly served the local community for more than five decades. For its first 28 years, the club operated without a permanent home, playing and training at temporary locations on Killarney Road, Langford Street, Sunhill and Farrantoreen.
In 2003, the club reached a major milestone by moving to its permanent home on Iveragh Road. The club’s original colours were black-and-white stripes, with the kit changing several times through the years before settling on the now-familiar yellow and blue.
The goat displayed on our crest represents the town of Killorglin and its proud heritage, while our players come from across the wider Mid Kerry region.
The club has achieved FAI Club Mark One Star status and is making positive strides towards the Two Star Award, recognising our commitment to strong governance, qualified coaching, safeguarding, and player and coach development. The club continues to upgrade its grounds and facilities to accommodate an ever-expanding membership of more than 500 players, supported by over 100 dedicated coaches and volunteers.
