A tight first half saw Killorglin take the lead early on through David Mangan, only for the visitors to pile on the pressure, culminating in a certain goal coming back off the crossbar into the relieved hands of Alex O’Connor. But Killorglin eventually took control and an injury to one of the Caherdavin players midway through the second half left them playing with 10 men and the result was never in doubt.
