Congratulations to everyone in Killorglin AFC on completing the criteria for the FAI Club Mark One Star Player Development Centre Award. The FAI Club Mark is an award for grassroots clubs based on best practice in their governance, management and administration. The programme aims to support and encourage clubs to improve standards off the field with the result of having Stronger Clubs and a Stronger Game.
Well organised clubs with strong structures and volunteers are best placed to promote football and develop players. More than ever, it is essential that every club is well organised in all areas of club management. The FAI has a key role to play in facilitating club development by identifying and promoting best practice and providing the necessary guidance to empower clubs.
